ICOBI 2022 is the 5 th International Conference on Business Innovation that will be organized and held at NSBM Green University of Sri Lanka. ICOBI has been held annually since 2018, structured each year around an impactful and timely theme relevant to Business Innovation and Sustainable Development. ICOBI 2018 was held on 25 th August 2018 under the theme "Business Resurgence & Green Living"; the theme of ICOBI 2019 held on 22 nd November 2019 was "Reviving Talent & Green Living" while ICOBI 2020 was declared under "COVID-19 Transcending Challenges, Recovery Measures and Resilience" and ICOBI 2021 was held on 26 th November 2021 under the theme " Revitalizing the Economy through Sustainable Strategies ".
NSBM Green University, Sri Lanka, organizes the fifth International Conference on
Business Innovation (ICOBI) under the theme: "Accelerating Growth Towards SDG
Accomplishment". ICOBI 2022 will be held on the 25 th of November 2022 at the
university premises, creating a common platform to bring together like-minded people:
local and international academics, industry experts and entrepreneurs with the passion
for building a discourse and disseminating their experience and knowledge on
respective fields of study.
R.M. Gamini Rajapakse (B.Sc. Honors, Ph.D., D.I.C, FNASSL) is a Senior Professor of Chemistry at the University of Peradeniya. In 1989, he received his Ph.D. from the Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine at the University of London, United Kingdom. He has received fellowships from prestigious organizations including The Royal Society of Chemistry, University of Manchester, UK, and TWAS/ICSU/UNESCO, University of Central Lancashire, UK. He has been employed with the Department of Chemistry for more than 36 years. He is drawn to pursuing research in a variety of Nanotechnology fields. He has worked at numerous international universities and received 15 National Awards for his research in addition to over 100 indexed articles, numerous correspondences, and other honors. Snr. Prof. Rajapakse is the founding professor at Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC). He is a consultant to a large number of industries, and universities in the field of Nanotechnology including Consultant to ATG Intelligent Glove Solutions Lanka Ltd, Textured Jerseys Lanka Ltd, CODEGEN Ltd, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, Uva-Wellassa University of Sri Lanka
Prof. Henrik Hansson is an academic at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences,
Stockholm University, Sweden.
He has obtained his PhD in Educational Sciences and Audiology from the Stockholm University.
He is the Conceptual Developer of the SciPro thesis management system and he is also the
coordinator
of
more than 350 thesis writing students and more than 70 supervisors yearly at the Department of
Computer and Systems Sciences.
He has been an ICT-advisor and developer at the Swedish Agency for International Development
Cooperation, Sida Civil Society Centre.
He was a Senior Adviser at the Swedish Net University Agency, and a Research and Development
Adviser
at the Swedish Agency for Distance
Education.
He is the founder and the coordinator of the ICT4IID network, which stands for ICT for
Inclusion,
Integration and Development and it is an interdisciplinary research area which explores,
evaluates
and implements innovative
ICT solutions related to social change in collaboration with partners in Africa, Asia, Latin
America
and Europe, while aligning
them to the UN Sustainable Development goals aiming to end poverty, protecting the planet, and
ensuring prosperity for all. In
addition to that, he is interested in conducting researches on E-learning, Collaborative
Learning,
Teaching and Learning, Professional
Development, Pedagogy and Education.
